Origins

Ashton grew up in Reno, Nevada with dreams of being a professional magician, and one day working in film and television. From the mere age of 8, he was already making movies and honing his craft at sleight of hand, and constantly finding the nearest friend or family member to witness the day's "new trick."

By age 15, he was booking gigs as a working magician in restaurants, birthday parties, corporate events, and stage shows. This ignited an irreplaceable mission to pursue a career in entertainment, where he eventually relocated to Los Angeles by the age of 19.

Foundation

From 2011, Ashton trained with and studied the work of many of his idols, and hit the ground running with roles in many independent films and TV shows for NBC, CBS, CW and Nickelodeon.

He quickly began making a name for himself as a comedic character-y actor, and eventually moved on to writing, directing and producing. Ashton currently has numerous projects at various stages of development and production, and continues to hone his craft as a content creator.

Virality

In September 2016, Ashton created a video that would change his life. Upon receiving a phone call from an international IRS scammer, he filmed the conversation and proceeded to waste the scammer's time with confusion, jokes, and antics. The video depicts the scammer eventually losing his cool and delivering a mind-blowing, expletive-laced rant to Ashton, catching him completely off guard.

The video was posted later that month, receiving millions of views in a matter of hours. This led to media coverage from countless outlets, such as Yahoo, MSN, Inside Edition, Daily Mail, and the Mirror, to name a few. The video has since been viewed over 200 million times.

Ashton embraced this newly acquired attention and hot topic of scamming, and spent the next several months creating the YouTube channel Trilogy Media with his business partner and brother-in-crime, Art Kulik. To this day, Art and Ashton release videos weekly with humor, vlogs, challenges, games, and of course, scam-baiting. With several new viral videos released since, and over 400,000 loyal subscribers, Art and Ashton work daily to continue growing their channel, their careers, and the awareness on the issue.
